Mary Visits Elizabeth

³⁹ At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, ⁴⁰ where she entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth. ⁴¹ When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. ⁴² In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! ⁴³ But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? ⁴⁴ As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. ⁴⁵ Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!”

When you truly take in with true “awe” and “wonderment” in your heart, I believe you can have much more than a glimpse of the miracles within these verses!

Our dear kind and wondrous Lord Jesus said “I will not leave you as orphans”! (John 14:18) Do you ever feel as if you are an orphan in this world?

With all of the madness going on “out there”, there may be times when you feel frightened and alone as if nobody cares. It may feel like there is not one person who really “gets” you! If you start feeling like this, “Repent now” for it means you do not really know what Lord Jesus has done for you over 2,000 years ago and that He is here in “our midst” when we gather together with only two or three” of us praying and gathering in His name.

There is never a moment when you should ever be feeling alone as if you are an orphan in this world particularly if you are a Christian. If you feel like this it means that you are really not knowing that Lord Jesus is real. It is so important to know HIM! How do you get to know Him?

First you “Repent now” for He says the “Kingdom of God” is at hand (Matthew 3:2). You say, “Father, I repent of my sins and ask you for forgiveness for not truly believing in the words our Lord Jesus spoke over 2,000 years ago. I repent of not speaking with our Lord Jesus every day and making sure that I am taking His words seriously. When He said He would not leave me as an orphan, I must trust these words and open my heart in a deeper way to Him, so that I know Him more and more intimately every day.”

“Please help me Father, Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit to trust and obey the commands of our Lord Jesus, to obey your ten commandments, Father and I open to be filled with your Holy Spirit”. Then say to our Father and Lord Jesus that you “give your life to serve’ the most high God, His Son and Be filled with the Holy Spirit. Keep asking for help from our Father, Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit to be right with them and you will be amazed at the “good fruit” (Matthew 7:17) you will achieve and receive.

Lord Jesus says that if we want, our Father, the Holy Spirit and He will “come and dwell” in us! (John 14:23) How amazing is that? Ask Our Father, Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit to come and live in you. If you continue on in the belief that you are alone in this world and you call yourself a “Christian” then it means you are simply not truly engaged with the words Lord Jesus spoke over 2,000 years ago.

When He said that He would not leave us as orphans, He meant it. If you feel that you are alone and like an orphan and consider yourself to be a “Christian” it means that you must be being fooled and deluded by the devil. It also means that you are probably not spending enough time speaking with Lord Jesus asking for all of the help you need to overcome this state of being.

I pray for you that you will ask our Lord Jesus to help you to be more and more disciplined in your daily walk with the Lord, so you will organise to spend more time with Him. Speak with our Father as a child. Speak with Him as He is your “one and only Father”, (Matthew 23:9) as our Lord Jesus says He is. Speak with our Lord Jesus as if He is your “one and only I am your one and only Teacher” (Matthew 23:8) as He says He IS.

Speak in tongues for even a short time every day and open to receive the Holy Spirit. Our Father sent this gift as our Lord Jesus promised He would over 2,000 years ago. (John 14:26) Take advantage of all our Father has given to us. Do not hold back, our Father wants us to bring glory to His name. How can we do this, if we do not know Him? It is not possible.

I pray for you to truly speak with Lord Jesus and ask Him for help, ask the Holy Spirit who is everywhere to surround you and help you to be more obedient to our Father, who sent Him. Lord Jesus says that if we obey His commands we can do what He did and even greater things! (John 14:12) You can find different versions which say slightly different words like, “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these”. This statement is from the New International version of the Holy Bible. In another place Lord Jesus says that if we LOVE HIM we will “obey His commands”. (John 14:15)

What He has shown me since I became a Christian and have been working to obey His commands and know Him better every day, is that He means what He says! Of course, He is the SON of the most High God! So what the above words about “obeying His commands” mean are deadly serious! If you are a “Christian” and you are not obeying His commands, what are you doing?

I have witnessed pastors and preachers, preaching false words in churches all over the world, virtually making excuses for themselves and their congregations, saying that we “all fall short” of the mark and we aren’t worthy of gathering some crumbs from under a table! Rubbish! If what those people are saying is true then why did our Lord Jesus bother to tell us that if we will obey His commands we can do what He did and “even greater things”?

Why would He say those words if He didn’t mean them? He is the SON of GOD! Why would He say anything that He didn’t mean? He is “THE TRUTH”, therefore it is impossible that He said anything at all not meaning what He said. So if someone is making an excuse to you, or you are making an excuse for yourself, DO NOT LISTEN! This HAS to be coming from “the evil one” as Lord Jesus sometimes refers to as the devil!

If you make an excuse for yourself and the Lord does NOT, where will you stand when He returns? Ask Him. If you can’t hear Him, listen to the Gospels! He commands us to “Be perfect as my Father is perfect”! Wow! What do these words mean? Who knows how to “BE”? Since I became a Christian in 1995, I have been asking Lord Jesus to help me with everything I need help with, which is a lot!

I am so excited every single day, because He helps me and He helps me and He helps me and on and on every day! He commands us to “ask” and says we WILL receive! I ask Him to help me and I receive His help! Is that so hard? NO! It is SO easy! However, if you do not have a mind that is open to the spiritual realms, which is where Lord Jesus dwells, He is seated at the right hand side of His Father, the most high God up in heaven, then you will find it a lot harder to receive this spiritual help.

You can ask Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit to help you to open your mind. If you feel the devil trying to stop you in any way, you can say, “Get behind me satan in the name of Jesus”. You keep asking until you receive the help you need. Never stop until you receive it. If you aren’t receiving the help you want, then you can also look inside at the “plank in your eye” and ask Lord Jesus if there is any place where satan is holding you in bondage.

There may have been decisions you have made in your life which you need to repent of and ask the Lord for forgiveness. You may have been judging others (against a command of Lord Jesus)! You may have not been loving your neighbour as yourself (against another command of our Lord Jesus)! You just have to keep going until you are right with the Lord and you will see the results immediately as your life will start to run so smoothly and in a miraculous way. Miracles will start to happen every single day!

Lord Jesus also says that we will not get into the “Kingdom, unless we obey the commands” of His Father. All through the Old Testament in the Holy Bible, it is written in many places that the most High God EXPECTS us to obey Him! He refers to us as “mere mortals”! Through Lord Jesus, who tells us NOT to call anyone on earth “Father” because we only have ONE Father and that is our Father in heaven, God has become our Father! (Matthew 29:3)

This is so much for a new comer to Christ to truly take in, but WAIT there’s more! There is so much more to take in which is totally life changing when you do. The words of our Lord Jesus are SO HUGE that He says that “heaven and earth shall pass away” but His “words will NEVER pass away”!(Matthew 24:25) He also said that everything He speaks has come not from Him but from the one who sent Him, His Father the most HIGH GOD!(John 12:49)

Therefore it is so important to remember all of the above when you are speaking with our Father, Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit! If your mind can’t comprehend anything that Lord Jesus said, ask Lord Jesus to help you! Ask and ASK AGAIN! Ask the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, to show you, lead you and counsel you.

If your mind will not accept what Lord Jesus has said over 2,000 years ago, you need to ask for prayer from other Christians and find out whether you are in bondage in any way to demons or the devil. You can’t be a lone Christian. We all need so much help along this pathway following our Lord Jesus!

If you find yourself thinking, “I don’t need any help from people I have the Lord He will help me”, then look closely at yourself. If this is coming from an arrogant or pride filled place, this is NOT of God. As Lord Jesus says there are only “two masters”, God and Mammon, as arrogance is an “abomination” to God, you know for sure that this attitude you have is NOT from God!(Matthew 6:24) Therefore it is from the other master.

I have been searching for years to find out what Lord Jesus is really speaking about. He has shown me that behind “mammon” or “the world” is the “father of lies” as He also calls the devil. If we are not “awake” as Lord Jesus tells us to be, or we have a high opinion of ourselves, because that is the way we were brought up to be, the devil can easily fool us. Many Christians I have met around the world on my travels singing and preaching, have been in bondage to the devil, have no idea about this and need prayer and deliverance.

If you do not really truly believe that God is your one and only “Father” but you are coming in the name of the Lord, what will Lord Jesus say to you when He returns? If you believe that God is your Father and you never have a conversation with Him, it is highly probable that you are deluded about your belief in Lord Jesus. How can you find out what the most High God wants for your life, what He wants you to do for Him and for Him to help you to learn His ways ( as He says through the prophets in the Old Testament) if you never speak to Him on a daily basis as a child would to their earthly dad?

As Lord Jesus said to the woman at the well, “A time is coming when all will worship in the spirit and that is the worship that God wants”! Time to open your mind to God, more every day! Do you start your day speaking with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit? When Lord Jesus says that the “greatest commandment” is to LOVE the Lord our God with ALL of our heart, mind, soul and strength, (Matthew 22:37) what does He mean? I have been seeking to truly understand and know what to do from our Lord Jesus since becoming a Christian in 1995.

When I first read that He says He is our “One and ONLY teacher”, I realised that I must put Him in that place of authority in my life and the results have been truly amazing for not only myself but many others I have been sharing with for years.

He has revealed so much to me it is like having store houses of gold, silver, rubies, every valuable thing known to humans and even more! Lord Jesus is our ONLY way to come to His Father and ours, so to have Him in the position which He expects all of us to have Him in over the last more than a quarter of a century, is so amazing it can hardly be put into words.

The daily “BREAD” that HE is, is worth more than any gold or silver. He says that if we will “eat His flesh” and “drinks my blood” will “LIVE forever”.(John 6:54) He also says that He is the “BREAD OF LIFE”! (JOHN 6:35) Are you truly feasting upon Lord Jesus?

I encourage you to start your day by speaking with our Father, Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit. You can begin by saying for instance, “Thank you Father for this wonderful day. Thank you for sending us your precious one and only begotten Son and the Holy Spirit”! You can say whatever you have to say of course but I have found that starting with thanking our Father for all that He has done and is doing for us every day is an amazing start.

It is such a privilege to begin every day speaking with our Father, who is the Father of our saviour, the King of Kings, Host of Hosts, the Messiah, our one and only Teacher, our Greatest friend who died for us and set us the highest example in the history of the world, as to what to do to truly LIVE and receive “life in abundance”!

Every Christian on this earth should be constantly in a state of huge gratefulness, joy, kindness, happiness and so on and so on of all of the greatest feelings and emotions possible to have as a human, knowing that our Father is GOD, our greatest friend is the SON of God and we have the Holy Spirit right with us and even living IN US if we want, to help us any moment of the day!

Get grateful people! Our GOD IS GREAT and loves us so much He sent His ONE and ONLY SON to save each one of us from our sins, enable us to be “born again of water and the Holy spirit” (John 3:5) and to LIVE LIFE IN ABUNDANCE” (John 10:10)! How deep is your relationship with the Lord your God? This relationship of course is between you, your Father, Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus says that we will “not enter the Kingdom unless we do the will” of His Father. (Matthew 7:21)

How can you do the will of your Father in Heaven if you do not ever engage with Him in conversation? If you do not speak with our Father in Heaven through our Lord Jesus, how can you find out what the Father of our Lord Jesus wants us to do for Him?

Our Lord Jesus has given us one prayer, “The Lord’s prayer” and within that prayer we say “Your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven”. Who is supposed to be doing God’s will? Someone else? WE ARE! If Christians are not truly speaking with our Father, Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, who else is going to? Lord Jesus says that nobody comes to His Father except through Him! (John 14:6)

So the only way we can come to our Father in heaven to speak with Him personally is THROUGH HIS SON! If you do not believe this then you can’t be a follower of Lord Jesus because this is what He says. If Christians aren’t asking the Father of Lord Jesus though Lord Jesus what to do, nobody else is going to, because nobody else is coming through to God the Father, through Lord Jesus.

Lord Jesus tells us in the Gospels that a time is coming when people will “worship in the spirit” and this is the worship that God wants. (John 4:23) Do you worship truly in the spirit? Do you speak with your Father every day and ask Him what He wants you to do for Him?

If you have any problems do you share them with your Father in Heaven or do you keep them to yourself? Do you just talk with others about your problems? Lord Jesus tells us that we only have one “Father in Heaven” and we are not to call “anyone on earth Father”. If you do not speak with your Father in Heaven about everything, what are you doing?

He is your one and only Father. He made you! He created everything on and from which you live! He sent us His one and only Son our Lord Jesus Christ who is “THE WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE”! He is the one who came to bring us “LIFE IN ABUNDANCE”! (John 10:10)

If you do not speak with Him every day in this way that He is your one and ONLY Father, what will happen to you? If you do not speak with our Father every day in this “Father/child” relationship, repent and ask for His forgiveness and start right now anew with Him as your one and only Father.

He is supernatural and wants to do everything for you! Lord Jesus says that “all things are possible with God”! (Matthew 19:26) Why would you not want to have a one hundred percent relationship with the God who created everything and can do all things? Our Father wants to do everything for us, but we can’t even know Him properly if we do not talk to Him, find out what He wants us to do by asking through Lord Jesus and then doing “His will”! Lord Jesus says that His family are those who seek His Father’s will and then do it! (Matthew 12:46-50)

If we do not LOVE Him with ALL of our heart, mind, soul and strength, then we are falling short of obeying the “greatest commandment” according to Lord Jesus. (Matthew 22:36-40) If you have not been loving God as He wants you to love Him, repent and change right now! Give Him your heart and your whole self. Give Him all of you and throw your self into His hands. Trust Him with ALL of yourself and see what happens. Lord Jesus says “Only God is good”. (Mark 10:18) If we look to obey God, then we can produce truly “good fruit)”. (Matthew 7:18)

If you want to have the greatest life that is possible for you on this earth, give up your life to God and ask Him for help to be a true obedient child and serve Him with all that He has given you.
