This seems like a really silly question perhaps. However, I have met many Christians around the world as I have been singing, speaking and preaching to people on the streets, in halls or churches who do not appear to truly know the “commands” of our Lord Jesus Christ!

In the beginning of my Christian journey, this shocked me to my core. Lord Jesus clearly says that if we “love Him, we will obey” His commands. What is going to happen if we don’t obey His commands?

He says that we will NOT get “into the Kingdom” unless we do the “will of His Father”. How do we do the “will of His Father”?

I have been asking Him questions like these for 28 years. If you would like to know more please place your email address in the box on the right hand side and you will be able to start receiving the answers that I have gained from being a disciple of Lord Jesus since I gave my life to Him in 1995.

I have been asking, seeking and knocking as He commands us to do since that time and He has of course helped me hugely to understand the importance of obeying our Father’s commands many of which have been given to us by Lord Jesus Himself. Welcome again to ‘Breaky with Jesus’. I pray that by listening to this podcast you will come into a deeper and more intimate relationship with Lord Jesus. Keep remembering that this is what He wants with us as does our Father in heaven. The ‘Spirit of Truth’ is always with us, however I have met many Christians who still don’t truly know Him and that He is here with us all of the time.

I have met Christians who have suffered from depression and loneliness and when I have asked them about their relationship with our Father, Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, it is as if the only relationship they have is with the church they attend or the people who go there.

We ALL need to know the Holy Spirit and what He is here to do for us. When you listen to this podcast I pray it will lead you into a deeper relationship with the one who died and rose again so that you can live what He said He came to bring and that is “LIFE IN ABUNDANCE”!

So excited to share this ‘Breaky with Jesus’ with you, as I am always! My husband William and I returned from Israel and Egypt a few nights ago. About two weeks before my birthday which is on the 30th of April, William had been praying and God said clearly to him that He wanted us to go to “Israel for two weeks and Egypt for four days”.

Initially I was quite surprised and actually a little shocked, as usually our Father gives me this kind of guidance, we pray and then make sure it is truly from Him. He has said to me things like, “Go to London tomorrow”, with our youngest daughter Grace who was eight months old at the time and the results have been miraculous. I have lived my life in this way since I became a Christian in 1995.

After the initial surprise I was very excited as I had dreamed for quite some time of going to the ‘Holy Land’. Over the years of singing and speaking all over the world, I had met many Christians who told me about their amazing time in Israel and I yearned to go there one day.

As we do, we sat down to pray where “two or three” are gathered in the name of Jesus, as to whether this guidance was really God’s will. Our son Vincent was with us and we all received the guidance from the prayer that William and I were to go. Vincent was to stay and look after the land we all live on, which we have given to our Father and put in the crop while we were away.

I was then truly excited. The closer we came to leaving the more I had an unexpected feeling that I was “going home”. I can only explain that feeling in this way that it must be spiritual because as far as I know I do not have any relations in Israel or Egypt.

Very soon afterwards, God brought me to start booking the places to go to. Some nights I was working so hard researching places and also the exact areas where Lord Jesus went in and the order in which He traveled to them. There is so much to share about this journey, I will endeavour to write more and more details about it, but for now I will say that just before we left, I heard God say to me that this was His present for my birthday! Wow! What a present from our Father!

Having experienced the greatest journey of my life I can say it is the truly most precious gift anyone has ever given to me, apart from “life” itself, giving my life to God, becoming a Christian and being baptised by water and the Holy Spirit. I will be sharing this with the people who have placed their email in the box and sent it to me, so if you would like to hear more, then please enter your email address and push the button. I look forward to sharing the adventures William and I had in Israel and Egypt. They were beyond really what words can describe! This podcast is to speak with you about the importance of really praying with others, only two or three as then Lord Jesus is in our “midst”. This means that we are checking in with our Father to ask whether it is His will before we go off and believe God has told us to do something but in reality it could be false guidance from the “father of lies” as Lord Jesus calls the devil.

When you ask in prayer with others about something that has “come to you” from God, you are checking in with the most High God, to make sure it is truly Him who has spoken with you. When He says “YES”, you go to where He is wanting you to go, or you do what He is wanting you to do and you go and do whatever it is, with His true blessing.

When we arrived in Tel Aviv, we were there for three nights. On the Sunday we caught the train to Jerusalem. A short time afterwards hundreds of rockets were apparently fired into Tel Aviv. We met a Canadian family who had to go to a bomb shelter during the air raid. By that time we were happily on our journey with Lord Jesus, following His footsteps.

As we had asked in prayer before just going and booking, we were kept safe and even more, having a huge time with God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit! It is so important to really pray with others and ask our Father before you just rush in and do things without asking Him. He is our creator, our Father who art in heaven and He likes to be asked and put in first place in our lives. Wouldn’t you if you made everything? I am writing to you the day before Good Friday, April, 2023. There is so much to be joyful about. When those who are coming with Lord Jesus every day take time out to give thanks for ALL He has done for every single one of us it is a time of great celebration!

There is so much to say, but so little time at this moment to say it as I am going out to celebrate with the Lord at our Burning Bush Festival that we have every year out in the valley on the land we live on, which we have given of course back to the Almighty God!

I pray for you to come to know Lord Jesus a quantum leap after listening to this podcast. Please remember to take some time out every day to learn the commands that our Lord Jesus brought straight through from our Heavenly Father to help us to truly live “LIFE IN ABUNDANCE”! To have a teacher, our one and only “teacher” as Lord Jesus says that He is, who is the Son of the most High God is a joy and excitement beyond any words can say.

Remember that He said, “Ask and you WILL receive”! The question is to whom do we ask which question? We can ask our Father, Lord Jesus or the Holy Spirit any question we have inside of us.

I have discovered that you get very different results when you ask the right questions to our Father or Lord Jesus or the Holy Spirit. Depending on the type of question I ask to whom, either our Father, Lord Jesus or the Holy Spirit, I will receive an amazing result if I put the question to the part of God which deals with the type of question I am asking.

Lord Jesus walked physically upon this earth (also on the water of course), so He truly understands what it is to be betrayed, be hurt and suffer as humans suffer. When I have a problem in the physical realm I will ask Lord Jesus for help. With other questions I have discovered it is better to ask my Father or the Holy Spirit.

After 28 years of being taught by our Lord Jesus, having asked Him so many questions every day about what He means, how do we do the things He tells us to do and so on, I have so much to share with you about what He has shown me, told me and taught me. It will take many sessions, workshops and courses to bring this information to you. I look forward to doing this in the near future.

For a start, you can begin by talking to Him yourself as you would your “greatest friend”. He said “What greater love is there than one who gives up His life for a friend?”(John 15:13). The friend He is talking about is YOU! It is ME! When you treat Lord Jesus as your greatest friend He loves this, because this is the truth!

He is THE TRUTH and He is our greatest friend. He gave up His life so that we can learn to live “Life in abundance”. He wants to have a relationship with each one of us. However we are the ones who must instigate this relationship. He will not force Himself upon us. Just start the conversation with Him in a real and natural way. You can talk with Him in your mind or out loud.

This recording has been made on the 31st March, 2023, coming up to Easter. I am so excited to talk to you about coming closer to Lord Jesus right now. Perhaps closer than you have ever felt or been. My experience of coming with Jesus every day, is that He brings me MORE during the day, the next, onwards and upwards on a daily basis.

When He says that we are not fit to be His disciple unless we “take up our cross every day”(Matthew 10:38), how do these words affect you. Do you really “take up your cross”? Every day? If not, or you don’t even really know what Lord Jesus means when He says these words, you can simply ask Him to help you! He says that He is our “only teacher”, so if you will let Him teach you He will! How exciting is that?

As we are coming up to Easter, I believe it is very exciting to really consider on a deeper level what our Lord Jesus means to us. What He did for us. The example He set for us. It is truly amazing and there is nobody else on this earth who can come near to Him! Except….all of us! He says that if we will “obey His commands” we can “do what He did and EVEN GREATER things!!

There is only ONE begotten Son of our Father, but He is telling us that if we obey His commands we can literally DO what He has done and EVEN GREATER THINGS! I STILL find this beyond phenomenal. This sentence is the reason I gave up my life to serve the almighty GOD, so I could do what Jesus did and even greater things. (John 14:12)

At that time though I had no idea of who Lord Jesus is, what He said and even all of the truly awesome things He did in His daily life when He was on this earth. Seven years after standing in a field and saying to God that I gave Him my life, He led me to His SON and then I gave my life up to Lord Jesus and started to learn from the beginning of the Gospels, what He said, what He did and what He expects of us.

I started an intimate relationship with Lord Jesus by speaking to Him personally any time of the day or night, every day. I also learned at that time that the devil also speaks, so we really need to be in touch with other Christians as much as we can so that we can pray together and make sure that it is actually our Father, Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit speaking with us or the one Lord Jesus calls the “father of lies”! Lord Jesus says that the devil has been a “murderer from the beginning” and he seeks only to kill and destroy.

As I often say, we must be very careful who we listen to. I have learned that any “voice” in my mind that speaks in a horrible or negative way is the devil. Our Father, Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit love us and would never say anything that would out us down or make us feel like we are nothing. They only want the best for us.

I learned years ago from a Christian woman who said that every time you are about to take a quantum leap in your life with Lord Jesus, the devil will attack you. This has been my experience for years. She told me to say, “Get behind me satan in Jesus’ mighty name.” I have been doing this from around a week since I became a Christian and this has helped me beyond what I can say. Lord Jesus Himself told satan to “get behind Him”. I also say “Lord Jesus please help me” and He always does.

Lord Jesus has really come to bring us “Life in abundance”. He is our saviour, our Messiah, our “one and only teacher”, our greatest friend and more. He always comes when “two or more” are gathered in His name. How about this Easter, you really spend some time speaking with Him and asking Him to help you obey His commands so you can “do what He did and even greater things”.

If you “open” your mind to Lord Jesus in a bigger way than ever before and find out what obeying His commands can do not only for you but your family, friends, community and even the whole world. Ask Our Father, Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit to come and “dwell in you”. Give your life anew to serve the most high God and see what happens in your life.
